The team over at BBLeaks has some info about a particularly interesting piece of software, BlackBerry Shield.

Shield is pretty much what it sounds like – added security features for BB users on BIS. While we only have rumored details at this time, it sounds like a nifty idea with features like remote device wiping, the ability to remotely set a password and GPS tracking.
