Every day I see a news story about one of the big, tech companies filing for some crazy, off-the-wall patent.. Though I can’t honestly say I’d ever use this, Motorola’s new idea sounds awesome.

Imagine you’re on a road trip with some buddies and you’d like to watch a movie to help pass the time. Unfortunately, you’re in a car so there aren’t any TVs or any other large monitors. Out of luck? Nay, says Motorola! You see, they just filed for a patent on their “Reconfigurable Multiple-Screen Display” concept. Basically, Motorola wants you to put all your phones together to make a giant screen.

Pretty cool idea, if it works. Guess we’ll have to wait and see.
