A Camera on the horizon for the iPad?

It seems as though Apple just can’t make up their minds on how to launch the iPad. Some reports have said yes to a camera, while others not so much. Officially, it doesn’t but the SDK report still indicates one in the specs.
Well, you can now add another rumor to the list. According to GoRumors the iPad camera could also come with flash and zooming ability. Indications of this have been dug out from the latest beta version of the iPhone SDK.
According to a report on MacRumors, the the code snippets confirm the presence of camera flash and zoom besides a forward facing camera. No details have yet been dug out on autofocus, though that could be another likely feature.
No one really knows why Apple left the camera out of the 1st Generation iPad, but as is with most of their products. Anything can change at any given moment.
