With a flick of a finger it will notify emergency personnel and up to three of your close contacts (via SMS and email) that you are in need of help along with your current location

How it works

iDistress uses an SMS gateway to communicate your message to your contacts. This ensures the most efficient delivery method in your time of need. Once downloaded and setup your contacts will be instantly notified via email that they have been added to your list of emergency contacts.

Cost

Honestly, for an app that does as much as this one, one would expect a fairly hefty price tag right? Wrong, Buzapp wants to stay true to their roots as a “Hobby” business and have priced it at a very reasonable $2.99. You can’t put a price on safety. So at that price it’s almost a no brainer.
