Quick question for ya…

If you could change one and only one thing about your phone, what would it be?

For example, I’d improve the battery life on my 9550. You see, last night I had to reboot my 9550 several times as I was adding and deleting apps. Needless to say, this took quite a toll on my battery. However this isn’t the only time my 9550’s battery life is hurt – this phone’s battery life is straight awful. Not since the Motorola Q have I had a phone this hard on the battery. I love the phone, but I hate having to have 2 extra batteries and make sure there’s a charger near everywhere I’m at just to get through the day. Seriously, I own 4 chargers for this thing; 5 if you count the car charger; 7 if you count USB charge/sync cables

When I had my 9530, my problems were different. They stemmed from a mix of low app memory and bad memory usage. Daily reboots were required…on a good day. I didn’t have any of the usual problems people had (bad screens, dead pixels, etc.), I just needed a less sluggish phone.

With all the new and inventive features companies are adding to their devices, something always takes a hit, be it battery, memory, or whatever. Though I’ve been strictly BlackBerry for several years now, I’m always curious what it would be like to have a different phone. And that’s where you guys come in. Share your experiences with me. Tell me the one thing about your phone that frustrates you the most.

It can be anything. Would you add more available apps? Improve the browser? Or are you in the mood for an OS overhaul? The Wi-Fi on my droid is as weak as it gets. Have to stand in the same room as the router to get signal. Maybe it’s just defective, but I don’t use it enough to care. All other devices in my house work great no matter what room they are in, and even outside.

I’m also not a big fan of the pull down window for notifications on Android, but it works good enough for now.

The request lag on my 9630 can be unbearable at times. It gets really obnoxious to have to wait for what seems like decades for the data arrows to do their thing and then the data pours in. This lag combined with an abysmal browser makes for a completely unusable browsing experience.

I’d like my iPhone to have an external battery, a little smaller so it’ll fit better in my hand would be lovely. Also a fabulous internal chat a la BBM would be a great perk. and a default chat client would be great too. I know there are apps but couldnt you just have one thats already preloaded? Everyone else does.

I’d like my blackberry to have a touch screen because of my dual BlackBerry iPhone usage I sometimes try to use the scroll bar on my iphone and start poking the screen on my Blackberry. Otherwise my blackberry shape and size is perfecto.

the T-mobile HTC mytouch Android. — personally it’s not as userfriendly as the iPhone and the Blackberry, takes a while to get accustomed to it. Maybe it’s just my phone buuuutttttt I can’t friggin text/type on the little guy. I can do on my Blackberry and iPhone with my eyes closed half asleep but with the HTC mytouch I’ve got to work at it and that’s just not cool. SO PLEASE MAKE A BETTER MRE INTUITIVE KEYBOARD. :)
