Good news and bad news for Canadian Nexus 4 owners. The good? Google has officially released the OTA update for Android 4.2.2, the one that has been rumoured to be coming any day now. The bad?

Although (as seen above) you can still enter the workaround and change the radio to get LTE on your device - despite not being officially supported - this new update axes the switch and no longer allows the device to actually pick-up 4G/LTE speeds in Canada (regardless of updating your APN’s).

So, unless you rely big time on LTE speeds to get you through the day, don’t perform the update. Aside from the previously stated updates, it’s been said that a few alerts have been changed in this update - namely a few of the battery ones (low battery and wireless charging).
