Wanna know why I love Fridays? Aside from the obvious “day before the weekend” answer, it’s because generally speaking, big things happen in the mobile world to usher in weekend sales. And I think it’s safe to say, this is BIG.

You can now buy an unlocked iPhone 5 from the Apple store. You are NOT restricted to waiting for a shipment or your carrier to get stock. Of course prices are the same and there are a few restrictions, one being that if bought before 4PM you can purchase a maximum of 2 iPhone 5s, after 4PM however, you’ll have to reserve online via the Apple Canada site for next day in-store pick-up. Not too shabby.
