Is BIS 3.0 Just Around The corner?

It seems as though the big BIS 3.0 upgrade we non BES users have been so patiently waiting for is finally here. Berryreview is reporting that our friends overseas in Europe, the Middle East and Africa will be getting their upgrade this weekend on March 14th followed not too long afterward by North America (about 2 weeks later) One of the biggest improvements to BIS 3.0 (also one of the most anticipated) is the new 2 way Gmail sync add-on, which being a heavy Gmail user myself, I’m pretty excited about.

BIS 3.0 around the corner?

Well, Blackberry enthusiasts it seems as though the wait may just be over, Crackberry is reporting that it could be as early as next week that we get our BIS 3.0 love, followed closely by BIS 3.1. As expected the BIS 3.0 release was to come in early 2010 and March seems to fit that timeline rather well provided RIM keeps target.
From what we know some of the highlighted features added to BIS 3.0 are: OpenOffice support, WMA support, and GMail 2 way synch for read/unread status.
