In case you needed more proof that that mobile future is upon us, here you go: Starbucks Canada has finally updated their iPhone app to include mobile payments. Version 2.1 is now available to download bringing iOS5 support and the ability to pay via your iPhone. To get started you must register a Starbucks card and load money on  it, upon cashing out the barista will scan the barcode that’s on your iPhone and your balance will be reduced. Are you a BlackBerry or Android users? Never fear, your update is coming in a matter of “months”.
